Job Description

The Square Hardware team designs the payment systems (terminals, registers, stands, and readers) that serve as a tangible entry point to the payments ecosystem. The Test Rack team owns and operates a fleet of hardware test bundles, providing our developers with a platform on which to validate their firmware as we bring new products to market.

You will: 

Design, Test, Deploy, and Maintain hardware test fixtures on a server Debug ambiguous failures in test hardware and implement solutions with fellow engineersOnboard, train, and mentor Junior TechniciansDemonstrate ownership of Lab including maintaining KPIs, inventory, and cleanliness
