Therapist - PT Evenings

The PT Evenings Therapist provides clinical assessment and ongoing treatment for people living with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. They assist individuals and families by delivering mental health services that provide the client the ability to increase overall functioning, adjust to home, integrate in the community, or maintain living stability. This is a part-time position.  Caseload will be built by incoming referrals. Flexible work schedule and ability to choose caseload size.

Qualifications

Education

Masters Degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling, or related field from an accredited college and license eligible

Experience

One year or more years of experience in Medicaid-deliverable services preferred (i.e. mobile crisis response, crisis intervention and follow-up therapy, case management and community support

Job Duties Include:

Provide in home, community or telehealth crisis response services to individuals and families as assigned Evening crisis intervention services, hours include shifts from 5pm- 8 am. Hours will include required but scheduled holidays and weekends. Conducts Crisis/Safety Assessment with an ETA of 90 minutes to respond in person. Links clients to necessary resources i.e., health insurance, therapy, housing resources, medical treatment. Implements services under the guidelines of an evidence-based practice framework, including but not limited to ARC or SBC program Refers/links to necessary resources to meet needs; basic mental health needs are Completes required paperwork within established timelines. Provides comprehensive and initial diagnostic assessment of all referred clients utilizing interviews and well-recognized criteria with the state implemented crisis assessment tool. Integrates all crisis services provided by serving as a central point of communications for all mental health related services and linkage. Maintains comprehensive process notes, completing assessments, testifying in court as needed, and participating in multidisciplinary staffing as needed Performs other related duties as assigned Develops treatment crisis stability plans at time of intervention as needed Adapt clinical methodology to the needs of the client Turn in timely documentation including daily case notes, screens assessments to meet billing and program deadlines and all monthly billing sheets, and all other required documentation Actively expand knowledge through professional development and research Provide community education services, consultation as assigned, and crisis intervention. Participate in multidisciplinary staffing as needed Develop collaborative relationships with staff and other programs both within and outside of the agency Understand therapeutic boundaries Maintain highest ethical standards, including understanding of therapeutic boundaries, in keeping with professional affiliations and demonstrate ability to perform strength-oriented practice. Ability to document services to meeting Medicaid requirements Ability to travel and provide in-home and crisis response services. Must have a car to provide these services. Reviews and responds to all electronic and phone communication within 24 hours.
