Here’s the Gist:

The Tool Install Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the Production Project Request (PPR) process, ensuring smooth equipment installations, and maintaining effective communication across various teams.

The Day-to-Day:

Manage PPR (Production Project Request) Process:  

Intake of PPR submissions from requestors  

Upkeep of PPR log for tracking of submitted, in progress, and completed PPRs

Processing of PPRs  

Generate and submit (if requested) Tool Install Cost estimates for requestor  

Generate Subfab Layout updates (if required) to support production level layouts  

Generate Point of Connection (POC) request to Facilities Engineering with suggestions (when possible). Follow up with Facilities Engineering on delinquent POC assignments.  

Generate (or notify Admin to) CxAlloy Tool Install Checklists  

Present Tool Install Project Manager (PM) with Tool Install ‘package’ (completed POC sheet, layout(s))  

Work with Facilities Master Layout owner to make updates to as-built layouts as projects are completed.  

Design: 

Assist with the final tool layout changes in the field to ensure all requirements are met when placing equipment 

Update all design packages to reflect any field changes 

Assist local tool install and global design team with design updates needed 

Ensure accurate equipment placement in the Cleanroom and Subfab utilizing design packages and correct mylar placement 

Place tool mylars on ins the cleanroom to assist the tool install team and ensure that floor support is adequate.  

Overall:

Foster working relationships with PPR Requestors (from various parts of the organization), Tool Install PMs, Facilities Engineering, Rigging Support, Tool Install Contractors, and Production Teams (Operations, Equipment Engineering/Maint, Process Engineering), Logistics/Shipping & Receiving to confirm feasibility of plans/ideas and timelines/schedules for equipment installations 

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

Ability to stand for 6 hours at a time, wear full clean room attire as needed, and lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.

Basic computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.  The ability to multitask using multiple computer screens at the same time.   

Work independently with minimal supervision, as well as under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Associates Degree or Military experience equivalent

Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, design packages and maintenance manuals

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compensation Range:

$75,000.00 - $103,000.00
