Summary:

The Training Associate (Market Trainer) specializes in Sales Training, Assisted Sales, and Virtual Presence. The qualified individual must possess a strong passion for success, an abundance of energy and be committed to delivering superior service and performance for our National Retailer. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, goal oriented and a team player excited to learn and grow as a member of the MarketSource team.
Additionally, the candidate must be able to comfortably explain technology, educate consumers and sales associates, and make product recommendations.

Essential Job Functions:Conduct training sessions in-person, both on the sales floor and in a classroom setting for new hires and existing sales team members.Conduct training sessions virtually as required.Provides input on the development of training content.Collaborate with District Managers and sales leadership to identify gaps in knowledge and skills.Monitor and measure the effectiveness of training programs through metrics such as sales. performance, leadership feedback, and participant feedback.Continuously evaluate and improve onboarding experience for new hires.Work periodic shifts as an individual sales contributor and maintain an acceptable productivity level.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong knowledge and experience with consumer electronics and other consumer productsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenProfessional image and approach to businessFriendly demeanor, easy to approach, energetic, goal orientedGroup training, demonstrating or presentation experiencePossess a high degree of initiative, exercises judgment and exhibits a high level of creativityAbility to engage customers and establish relationshipsAbility to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of a group.Ability to work in a changing environment and adapt to the needs of the business.Ability to work with minimal supervisionJob Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.Minimum of 1 year retail experience in a selling environmentProven track record of being successful at attaining sales objectivesProficiency with technology – data gathering and basic computer use60 - 75% travel required to assigned stores within market. Out of state travel may be required.Flexibility to work weekends
