TRAINING COORDINATOR

**HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE - 50% IN-OFFICE & 50% REMOTE UPON TRAINING** CORE HOURS: 8AM-4:30PM OR 7:30AM-4:00PM

Under the general direction of Revenue Cycle Director, the Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the establishment of procedures for all education, training, orientation, competency and QA functions for new and existing Revenue Cycle personnel to ensure efficient workflows that meet department standards. This position is responsible for ensuring that the hospitals cash flow needs are met through the efficient delivery of a defined and unified training and orientation program for all revenue collection functions across the continuum of the Health System that leads to a decrease in denials and underpayments and increases the optimal efficiency of the revenue collection transactions.

Monitors current systems to ensure the Revenue Cycle personnel are utilizing systems to their maximum potential. Identifies and communicates deficiencies in automated procedures and reports them on bi-weekly or monthly basis to the Director. The Trainer oversees the development of new and/or modified registration, billing, follow up and collection systems, and customer service processes for continuous quality improvement.


Education Minimum:              High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred:              Associate Degree in a related healthcare field.   
Registration/Certification/Licensure: Preferred:  Certification in Coding   
Experience Minimum:        Two years experience in billing, registration, and/or collections. Preferred:         N/A  
Other Requirements: Must demonstrate superior leadership and organizational skills. Must demonstrate superior electronic system skills, and be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
