Training Specialist
SUMMARY

   Designs and conducts training and development programs to improve the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) individual and organizational performance with supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for designing and conducting training and development programs to meet the challenges of the CDMRP’s Electronic Grants System (EGS). Develops and maintains training development program templates in electronic and printed media. Develops and maintains programs to leverage technology into training strategy. Conducts train the trainer events for CDMRP staff on all new training products developed. Conducts subject matter expert workshops to gather training development material as necessary. Provides training materials to support CDMRP and EGS activities. May analyze training needs. Maintains regular and punctual attendance. Performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associates degree from an accredited school is preferred, Bachelor’s degree with focus on Instructional Systems Design and delivering instructions. Technically fluent in Windows desktop operating systems. Technically fluent in Microsoft Office 2016 (or above) and Office 365 products. Working knowledge of CDMRP systems. A current T3 Background Information (BI). Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Must have an intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft office suite. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision, be exceedingly well organized and flexible.
