Job Description:

This is a technical position within the Power Delivery unit of Arcadis. The position consisting in the coordination of the power delivery transmission line engineering team and performing hands on engineering, detail design and studies for utility clients in North America. The incumbent will also work closely with Sr. and Lead transmission line engineer within the Power Delivery group.

As the successful candidate, you will:

Support, develop, and deliver HV and EHV transmission line projects from 69kV to 500kV with quality, schedule, and safe design in mind Serve as a Lead Project Engineer or Project Manager on electric transmission design projects for high-voltage (HV) and extra high-voltage (EHV) overhead utility systems Independently perform engineering and detail design drawings, studies and analysis, plan and profile documents, prepare bidding documents and specifications, bills of materials, shop drawing review, procurement and construction documents Support and work with project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management Mentor Jr. and Staff engineering and assist the team  Responsible for QA on client reports and deliverables  Maintaining close coordination and help other relevant Arcadis Business Units and Practices for cross selling and cross staffing opportunities

You bring to the role:

A Bachelor’s degree in either Civil or Electrical Engineering Minimum of 7 years of experience in utility scale transmission overhead line design, engineering and studies Must have full transmission line design experience including PLS-CADD models (good to have PLS-POLE or PLS TOWER), foundations, material, plan and profiles, and construction packages Able to execute and delivery transmission line package under minimal supervision of Lead engineer  Must have knowledge of applicable NESC, NEC, ASCE and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of electrical overhead, voltage conversion projects, new capacity projects and infrastructure replacement projects PE license preferred Occasional travel to site locations or for customer meeting in North America as well as at the international if required

The salary range for this position is $82,400.00 - $123,600.00.
