Job Title: Traveling Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee and monitor subcontractors while managing various project elements. This role involves overseeing the installation and construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Typically, you will handle around six projects a year, each lasting approximately 2-3 weeks.

Responsibilities

Oversee and monitor subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.Manage Requests for Information (RFI) and change orders efficiently.Coordinate and supervise the installation of structures and systems.Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained throughout the project.Travel to project sites for approximately 4 months of the year.

Essential Skills

Background as a foreman or skilled laborer in steel erection, MEP, or general labor.Strong construction management skills.Willingness and ability to travel extensively for project requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Local candidates to NJ have the opportunity to work in the office when not traveling.

Work Environment

The role involves working on-site or traveling to various project locations. Our projects include exciting opportunities such as installing helipads on buildings. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.70/hr.
