Treasury Analyst

This individual will be responsible for managing the daily cash position at the corporate level and developing and reviewing global cash forecasts.  This position will also need to ensure that our cash management practices and strategy comply with our covenant requirements and protect Carnival from risks associated with global cash operations.  This role services our global brands in ensuring that our bank accounts are properly maintained and in compliance with company policies and procedures.  This role will be responsible for responding to Know Your Customer (KYC) Requests, bank queries, and any bank account related documentation requirements.  The individual will be responsible for conducting periodic FX reporting and analysis. This role will also be expected to contribute to strategic Corporate Treasury projects by providing analysis and reporting support to other members of the team.   

Essential Functions:

Monitoring and review of global cash balances, providing analytical support for cash forecasting and investment decisions Reviewing and compiling all necessary documentation for banking matters including KYC Requests Communicating effectively with Financial Institutions, Operating Companies and internal constituents on all banking matters Review of bank account signatories and bank accounts  Analytical support for special projects which will encompass best practices or technology implementations across the entire organization  Making tactical recommendations to management on treasury operations  Ad hoc reporting and analysis

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar A minimum of 1-3 years overall experience, including treasury, accounting, or banking.      Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Analytical capabilities. Knowledge and/or previous work experience dealing with foreign currencies. Ability to handle multiple workstreams and projects simultaneously.  Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  Strong communication skills - verbal, written, listening and presentation with the ability to work with all levels of management in offices across the organization.  Strong organizational skills and detail oriented with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.  Ability to work in a global team environment.    Certified Treasury Professional credential a plus. Cash forecasting, cash management, fast paced multi-currency and global environment preferred.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: No or very little travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

The range for this role’s base salary is $51,600 - $95,000.  Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
