JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Tribe, Palm Springs, CA, seeks a qualified Tribal Court Reporter to record by stenographic means, the proceedings at Tribal Council Meetings, Annual Tribal Meeting, Study Sessions, or other meetings as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

Produce verbatim of assigned meetings. Produce minutes of the Tribal Council meetings and Annual Tribal meetings Securely maintain original minutes and original notes and tapes Upon the request of any Tribal Member, prepare verbatim transcripts of any requested item or meeting Upon the request of any Tribal member or Department Head, search original minutes for action on specific topics Must comply with all applicable internal controls, standard operating procedures and Tribal Regulations. Documents and reports all exceptions/variations/deviations immediately upon awareness.
