PAE has an opportunity for a Site Manager to join our team on our Federal Government contract in Springfield, VA

Anticipated tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ability to lead, develop, and mentor a team of supervisors and mail clerks.Hire and manage proficient and professionally capable staff throughout the life of the contract.Provide timely deliverables and performance related data to the Government/PAE in order to allow for adequate monitoring, oversight, and performance measurement.Promote innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness to realize improved service delivery capabilities and performance.Support all users of the Diplomatic Pouch & Mail systems with guidance on how to use the systemPromptly answer all inquiries about the DPM system and its use, or direct the inquiry to the proper person or office within the systemHave an in depth knowledge of the Foreign Affairs Manual (FAM) as it relates to DPMHave an in depth knowledge of the Foreign Affairs Handbook (FAH) as it relates to the DPMAbility to communicate concisely and accurately with State Department employees, contractors, suppliers and other users of the DPM system, both verbally and through written communicationsSupport and advise SA-8 PAE management team members with respect to DPM policy and procedureProvide research on pouch and/or item delivery issues to end customers and report problem findings to the customerAssist and support DPM Transportation with issues related to diplomatic pouch routing and movementMaintain a robust knowledge of ILMS (Integrated Logistics Management System) and its use in order to support prompt response to customer inquiry with respect to status of a shipment, pouch or item within ILMS.Resolve system and process problems with minimal disruption to the activities being performed under the contract.Respond rapidly to surge requests and provide the appropriate levels of qualified staff.Maintain a healthy and safe working environment ensuring that the sites AHA/JHA’s are updated with unknown events as they happen.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

Overall experience that is directly applicable and reasonably equitable to the responsibilities as described within this description.Must be a U.S. citizen and must hold an active full Top Secret government security clearance.Proven managerial experience to include providing regular operational feedback, management meetings, status updates to the Program Manager, attendance reports, training records and other productivity reports

Minimum Qualifications: 

Advanced degreeTen (10) years of management experience, including at least five (5) years managing a large-scale operation of size, scope, and complexity similar to this requirementExcellent organizational skills and good work ethicsDemonstrated ability to lead large teams

Work Environment:

Mainly office but may also include all other work environments as required.
