Employed by PAGNY for NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health/Tremont, located on Webster Avenue in the Bronx. The goal of this Center is to provide outpatient services to patients at high risk of contracting Covid-19, as well as short- and long-term follow-up care for those recovering from the disease. Preliminary evidence links Covid-19 to potential heart damage, lung injuries, blood clots, and mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

Full time Associate Ultrasound Tech needed. 

 

Perform procedures of a more complex nature as determined by the Radiologist. Assist in the conduct of specialized tests and studies. Monitor patients and equipment condition during procedure and report changes to appropriate health care professional. Obtain pertinent clinical information prior to ultrasound examination. Prepare patient prior to examination and assist the patient in assuming the required body position for each specific procedure.

 

 

Qualifications High School diploma or equivalentGraduate of an AMA approved Ultrasound ProgramRegistry as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)Must have one year of work experience
