**The Opportunity**
+ Responsible for formulating regulations and other instruments (including regulations, technical codes and standards, and guidelines) that set out a legislative planning framework necessary to ensure the sustainability and strategic coherence of development activities that move AlUla towards realising the strategic vision set by the RCU for the county.
+ Working environment will be both the client site and CBRE offices based in AlUla on a 2-week rotation schedule.
+ Developing, implementing and maintaining the legislative framework, and overseeing the continuous quality, alignment and compliance of the planning system with this guiding framework.
+ Developing, reviewing and co-ordinating, evidence-based zoning, building and land use regulations, standards and technical notes that provide the specifications for development at AlUla.
+ Assisting the wider client and CBRE team with the Masterplan planning and implementation for AlUla.
**Our ideal person is someone who:**
+ Possesses the relevant Planning Qualification (ideally degree level with ongoing professional development undertaken).
+ A minimum of 10 years’ experience in this field is mandatory.
+ Fluency in English, verbal and written. Arabic would be highly advantageous.
