POSITION: Utility Worker
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
FLSA STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
SALARY: $16.00 Hourly
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Utility Worker at the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Utility Worker’s primary responsibilities include the following functions in accordance with ASM policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and take down flooring portable chairs, operable walls, barricades, staging tables and other equipment for the successful execution of events.Basic Convention Center Equipment repair (Seats, dasher boards, replace batteries, etc.)Cleaning and maintenance of back of house areas, garages, workstations/work areasPerform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations for the facility are met. This includes, but is not limited to, trash removal, restocking and spill cleanup.Maintain and repair event equipmentTransport equipment to and from offsite storage, as necessaryConduct general machinery cleaning, washing, mopping and spot cleaningPerform general maintenance and janitorial duties as neededCompletes tasks in a timely manner with a high regard to quality that is consistent with the needs of Fresno Convention & Entertainment CenterMaintain a safe, secure and sanitary work environmentWork irregular hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, as neededEnsure proper facility preparations for event requirements as neededMay perform other duties as assigned
