Valet Parking Attendant

 

 

 

Position Summary:

 

Responsible for greeting patients, visitors and other guests while assisting them into Kootenai Health. 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 
Provides claim tickets to guests and completes vehicle inspection then safely parks vehicles
Ensures vehicles are locked and secure and returns keys to valet station
Retrieves vehicles upon request
Assists customers in and out of vehicles, if necessary, using appropriate safety precautions
Coordinates & assists with vehicle minor mechanical issues
Reports any safety & security issues in the surrounding areas to Security Services, as appropriate
Performs other related duties as assigned
Valet Attendants may be expected to support both the Paratransit and Courier divisions when necessary
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

   

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:

 
High school education or equivalent preferred
Valid driver's license with no restrictions
3 years driving experience preferred
Safe driving record
Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding the governing of motor vehicles in the State of Idaho

   

Working Conditions:

 
Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
Typical equipment used in a clinical job
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Must be able to stoop, crouch or bend
Must be able to push, pull, or transport heavy equipment
