VCA Jackson Animal Hospital in Medford, OR, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join their expanding team!

We're pleased to provide same-day and next-day appointments for new and existing clients in the Medford, OR area. Please note that our services go beyond standard preventative care visits. We are a full-service facility offering Preventative/Routine care, Surgery and Dental procedures, Urgent Care, and Hospitalization.

Snapshot of the Role: We want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

Providing support to the entire veterinary hospital staff  Ensure there is a clean, comfortable environment for patients and clients  Ensuring that treatment areas and exam rooms remain fully stocked  Restrain animals during examinations or vaccinations Keep accurate records and logs Sterilize equipment Observing patients for obvious signs of health concerns and reporting any findings to senior staff Plus so much more!

Compensation: $17 / hour  Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4/10 hour shifts
