Vice President, Analytics

The VP, Analytics position is a senior, highly-visible, client-facing position residing on the Product team and reporting to the Chief Product Officer. Primary responsibilities include creating and developing analysis solutions, leading analyst teams and delivering actionable insight to both internal stakeholders and clients. 

 

Essential Job Functions:  

The role will lead a team that owns reporting & analysis across the entire organization, specifically supporting marketing, sales, product and our client-facing Data Axle Agency – enhancing the vision for an analysis-driven product roadmap.  Pivot between different data tools and data sets to construct a comprehensive story of performance and customer journey. This includes, but not limited to, web and mobile analytics, marketing performance & attribution, sales and retention propensity models, sales leads and opportunities, and product exhaust data.    Use Redshift (SQL), Tableau, Google Analytics, Excel and Salesforce to build informative and interactive dashboards to provide this reporting.  Provide leadership and mentorship for team analysts and clients to make informed investment choices across digital and traditional marketing channels.  Continually track, analyze and improve KPI’s related to multi-channel digital marketing programs including optimizing spend, response rates, ROI, ROAS, LTV, attribution and detailed analysis of all program elements. Construct multi-touch attribution models and build data connectors to result in usable data.   Conduct analysis and create actionable models around reorder patterns, retention trends, active customers and product usage.  Partner and interface with a variety of stakeholders to make sure analysis provided is useful and driving actionable change. Work to push the analysis forward by investigating data anomalies and highlight trends in a proactive manner.  Drive innovation by collaborating with the stakeholders to recommend, execute and measure tests on landing pages and customer apps to increase conversion and ROI.  Become the subject matter expert on all business intelligence related to sales, marketing, product and underlying data. Regularly engage with a set of executives, GM’s and VP’s in various group to stay abreast of other initiatives that may impact performance.  Create and pitch analytic plans and approaches as part of broader marketing strategies and tactics, including maintenance of analytics collateral.
