Job Description

Duties: Oversee the development and adaption of business marketing strategies based on the changing market. Interpret clinical trial protocols to understand the drug mechanism of action, disease pathology, and clinical and medical need. Serve as a bridge between this need and the business development team. Lead the Prospecting Effort, including determining target prospect list and forgoing relationships with key targets at accounts with the objective of delivering opportunities. Lead responses to all client inquiries, including Capabilities presentations, Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Oversee the development and presentation of all client pitch presentations. Manage business development experts in lead generation and proposal response activities. Develop conference strategy and manage conference contingent, ensuring booth standards are upheld and the team is actively selling services. Oversee the development and adaption of business marketing strategies based on the changing market. Manage the marketing strategy and ensure it is aligned with the agency positioning to maintain a competitive advantage. Lead industry panels with industry experts. Participate as an industry expert to represent the company on industry panels as well as speaking at industry events. Manage the sharing of relevant marketing collateral with the network to continue to sell the company’s experience and expertise. Lead Sales Operations, including forecasting, reporting, pipeline analysis and regular finance reporting for new business and organic growth. Manage all opportunities that come into the agency to ensure they align with growth strategies. Develop, coordinate, and implement plans designed to increase existing business and capture new opportunities. Develop and strengthen internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.

Qualifications

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Medical Science, or a related field followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience in each of the following: 1). Leading a team of business development and marketing professionals 2). Developing global clinical trial recruitment and retention strategies 3). Establishing professional network with clinical trial industry executives 4). Presenting/authoring industry thought leadership content 5). Managing and overseeing clinical trial conference strategy and implementation 6). Generating new leads, identifying and contacting decision-makers 7). Screening potential business opportunities and selecting deals in line with strategies 8). Developing and implementing overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, processes, and structure at an organizational level 9). Aligning presentations and pitches with client business KPIs and pipeline 10). Delegating, overseeing and developing RFPs and RFIs 11). Leading pitch teams/pitching clinical trial recruitment and retention strategies 12). Developing deal structure and pricing and negotiating prices to secure awards 13). Onboarding new clients ensuring all contractual documents are in place; 14). Developing and overseeing the implementation of marketing strategies 15). Developing and managing CRM and pipeline in Salesforce; Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
