Job Description

Curinos is currently looking for a Vice President of Commercial Sales to join our growing Commercial Banking Client Coverage team.

This dynamic individual will have demonstrated the skills required to increase revenue from existing clients and new markets in the Treasury Management and Commercial Banking space through identifying incremental opportunities to leverage our data, software, and advisory solutions. The VP will be a member of the Commercial Solutions Sales team and support Senior Client Managers in all phases of the business development process including pipeline management, developing sales materials, providing subject matter expertise on commercial solutions, executing demos and directly managing client relationships and sales processes.

The VP will be dynamic, entrepreneurial, a fast learner, independent self-starter and have a passion to develop sales. They will also have the client relationship management skills to penetrate top market prospects as well as commercial banking subject matter expertise to be viewed as a Subject Matter Expert. The VP should be highly organized, technically adept, intellectually curious, have a proven track record of smashing sales goals, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Comfort managing multiple competing priorities is a must.

You will have the ability to:

Fully understand the commercial distribution solutions offered at the Subject Matter Expert level, and the associated development roadmapsSupport Client Managers and Product Owners with solutions selling into the senior level prospect and existing client account base including assistance in fully qualifying opportunities, input to opportunity strategy, solutions architecting, and conducting value-based demonstrationsPartner with the Sales and Delivery teams to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cyclesCreate and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition and how it comes to life to meet client needsCollect and document competitive intelligence and provide feedback to product, sales, and marketing functionsConduct industry webinars and lead campaign development for distribution products and solutions

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience10+ years of experience in commercial banking sales performance, and/or with experience at distribution solutions or advisory firmsProven ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand mannerAbility to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executivesExcellent analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights from data, including advanced Excel skillsSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience with retail banking analytic solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and creativity skillsExcellent power point development and presentation skillsExceptional project management skills and the ability to turn around time-sensitive research findings with a high degree of accuracy and insightHands-on experience with commercial banking solutions, products and pricing structuresStrong storytelling, data visualization, and presentation skillsTrack record of successfully:Managing and delivering on multiple projects at a timeBeing hands on with data and distilling the key actionable insightsManaging client relationshipsMeeting sales goalsStrong communication skills, detail-oriented, and organizedAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamWillingness to travel

A compensation package for this role will include a competitive Base Salary of $150,000 annually paired with a lucrative commission structure that is designed to reward exceptional performance. The expected Total Compensation Range is $200,000 – $250,000.
