Description of work to be performed:

Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of all third-party and internally managed Cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) used to support critical applications and business processes across the Homegenius business. Utilize solid technical experience in Cloud operations, DevSecOps practice, architecture services, application implementations and integrations, strong project management acumen, excellent vendor management skills, plus a superior, service-oriented approach to platform and application operations. Drive strategy to streamline the software development life cycle to improve technical teams’ productivity, delivery speed, and development quality to ensure quality, efficiency, and agility goals are achieved. Provide the right technology vision, strategy, and roadmap to enable the department’s digital business transformation ambitions. Identify key emerging trends and technologies, evolve the architecture to support new, emerging technologies, and modernize the application platform. Manage the implementation of software engineering initiatives, and will be responsible for championing best practices and ensuring initiatives achieve business outcomes. Contribute to the development and execution of the Radian IT strategy and ensures its alignment with the business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success. Responsible for implementing continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), and continuous testing to streamline the software development lifecycle. Utilize tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for automating infrastructure provisioning. Utilize Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Responsible for designing and implementing scalable, loosely coupled microservices using modern tools. Implement serverless functions using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or other Cloud Functions. Ensure cloud and DevOps practices adhere to security and compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS. Apply Agile and Scrum principles to manage projects and teams effectively. Responsible for understanding ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and ITSM (IT Service Management) best practices for managing IT services and infrastructure. Ensure applications and infrastructure to handle high levels of traffic and scale dynamically to meet demand. Responsible for managing cloud costs, optimizing resource usage, and making data-driven decisions about infrastructure investments. Responsible for evaluating, selecting, and managing relationships with cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure vendors. Provide strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation, and support of applications in the cloud that fulfill the needs of the business, including the full life cycle of technical architecture, platform engineering, and cloud and service operations. oversee, design, implement, and manage Devsecops capabilities using continuous integration/continuous delivery toolsets and automation. Drive continuous improvement in software quality and platform reliability and resilience. Lead the implementations of software engineering to the successful delivery of business outcomes. Work with software, Engineering teams, and other stakeholders to set goals for improving code quality, maintainability, security, and scalability. Monitor progress against these goals. overseeing, improving, and upgrading technology services, software, and cloud solutions. Stay on top of the latest trends and technologies and keep an eye out for any software, services, or technologies that might improve business processes.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Management Information Systems or a related field and 10 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related experience. The position also requires experience with all of the following:  10 years of experience to establish broad technical knowledge across applications development, cloud services, data center infrastructure service and operation, data management, analytics, integrations, and security; 7 years of experience leading to strong knowledge of the AWS/Azure services and architecture in the context of large-scale SaaS product deployments; 5 years of hands-on experience and deep understanding of relevant tools for supporting Cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP) platforms and DevOps processes (CI/CD, IaC, APM) including container technologies (e.g. Docker Swarm, Kubernetes,), monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Splunk, Cloudwatch, NewRelic, OpenTelemetry) to establish and implement; 6 Years of Experience to demonstrate success in leveraging both standard best practices, such as IT service management practices based on ITIL, as well as emerging methods like DevOps that are optimized for Agility. 100% Remote Role.
