Warehouse Associate I- Temporary/ Seasonal

Job Description:

The Warehouse I Associate is primarily responsible for receiving, putting away, picking, and shipping
product within a warehouse. This role is responsible for maintaining quality by properly and safely
handling the product, as to meet customer standards

Essential Responsibilities:

Works safely while performing tasks and using equipment (e.g., uses proper lifting techniques for handling product, warns other associates when moving into high traffic path, maintains safety zone around equipment, etc.)Efficiently and accurately pull and/or check orders to company standardsAccurately pulls products from warehouse shelves based on item number, size, color, and quantity requirementsPacks and stages completed purchase orders for deliveryAchieves or exceeds performance expectations by completing effective and efficient auditsTrained and performs tasks in cross-functional areas, such as picking, pulling, labeling, shipping, and/or helping with deliveries, as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

Required –

Strong safety orientation and proven record of complying with safety requirementsDemonstrated track record of consistent and reliable on-the job contributionAbility to work independently with limited supervision or with a team

Preferred –

High School or GEDExperience in distribution center operations or previous warehouse experienceExperience operating power equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, yard truck)Experience performing detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced working environmentExperience using spatial reasoning to position product effectivelyBasic math and reading comprehension skillsBasic computer skills

Pay Range for CA, CO, HI, NJ, NY, WA: $18.00 - $50.00 per hour
