Responsibilities

The Warehouse Stocking Supervisor is responsibile for helping: plan, guide, and direct team members and team leads in an efficient and timely manner to meet the daily inventory replenishment demands, meet productivity expectations and work deadlines, handle administration duties, trouble shooting, problem-solving, training with all team members.

 

Key Job Responsibilities: 

Maintain a high level of shipping  productivity and efficiencyDirects and oversees the Internet shipping process of picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlinesMaintains a staffing level to accomplish the receiving mission in an effective and efficient manner.Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of receiving associatesEnsures the shipping associates are capable of safely operate material handling equipment to move materials Develops crew leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned crew members.Maintains an equipment structure and level to accomplish shipping  mission in a safe, effective manner. Monitors the loading of all merchandise into the shipping department; ensures merchandise are staged for speedy shipping  process, ensures shipping reports accurately report merchandise ready to ship. Ensure completeness and acceptable condition of shipments.Assist in resolving discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and stocking reports. Monitors the flow of paperwork from inventory controls to shipping for timely data entry.Assisting in the training of new associatesMaintaining excellent cross-functional and interdepartmental communicationDirects and oversees the Internet process of picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlinesAssist receiving and inventory supervisors to help navigate and prioritize incoming product. Monitor systems and emails frequently to ensure customer satisfactionKeep work areas clean and clear of safety hazardsPerforms additional duties as assigned

Staff Management:

Lead and supervise a team of stocking agents  Counsels, records and discipline shipping associates as necessary.

Supervise Operations: 

Maintain a meticulous standard for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the shipping department.Maintain a safe working environment.  Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standardsMaintain 5S warehouse principles are administered and followed on a routine basisDirects movement of shipments from receiving platform to stocking and work areas. Qualifications

Requirements: Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

Must be able to work Weekends!2-3 years hands on supervisory experience required1 year stocking experienceSupervisory experience, team building.Experience with WMS/ inventory management system and RF technology.Must possess ability to multi-task and adjust to dynamic order flow fluctuations as needed Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to identify areas drifting behind in production and proactively act to get back on trackExperience in tracking metrics, including key performance indicators such as team member productivity.Knowledge of automotive parts preferredMust have excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.Must possess outstanding customer relations skillsStrong skills and experience in team/personnel managementExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated drive to achieve results Ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand/ walk for up to 10 hours, able to squat, bend and reach, able to climb and descend stairs safely (applies to locations with stairs)Ability to work powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker etc)
