Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Water BIM Specialist, we'll count on you to:

Perform non-routine and complex drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques in MicroStation and AutoCADWith occasional assistance from project engineers and managers, produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of water and wastewater engineering designs using computer-aided drafting softwareProject work will include the design of water treatment plants, booster pump stations, well sites, lift stations, water mains, sewer collection mains and stormwater piping.Conduct field investigations and inspections as neededDirect efforts of less-experienced BIM Technicians as neededPerform other duties as needed#LI-JF1

Required Qualifications

Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experienceA minimum of 6 years experience in civil design with BIM programsAssociate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experienceRequires good working knowledge of Microstation and/or AutoCAD and construction documentsRequires a good working knowledge of BIM, construction documents and technical knowledgeExcellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essentialCivil drafting background with underground utility experienceAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge and experience in working with Microstation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD and/or Revit computer drafting and design applications.

The expected compensation range for this position is $64,000 - $94,000 annually  depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles are eligible for limited benefits.
