Summary:
Manages web environment design, deployment, development and maintenance activities. Also performs testing and quality assurance of web sites and web applications.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:
Administer and maintain our organization's websites, ensuring uptime, performance, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
Manage web servers, hosting environments, and related infrastructure, configuring and optimizing server settings for security, performance, and scalability.
Update website content, including text, images, multimedia, and other assets, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency across all pages.
Monitor web security threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks, implementing security measures such as firewalls, SSL certificates, and intrusion detection systems to protect against breaches and unauthorized access.
Implement backup and recovery procedures for website data and configurations, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities in case of system failures or data loss.
Work in a fast-paced development environment.Meet delivery timelines with attention to detail to ensure delivery of responsive solutions.Provide technical support to internal users and external stakeholders, troubleshooting website issues, resolving technical problems, and responding to support tickets in a timely manner. QualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:
Strong understanding of web security principles, vulnerabilities, and best practices, with experience in implementing security measures and protocols.Participate in team development and provide technical advice/implementation.Cloud migration knowledge.Kubernetes/container knowledge is a plus.Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellent communication skills.Minimum Qualifications:
At least 4-6 years of current experience in the field or in a related area.
Experience in web administration, server administration, or related roles, with proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web servers. Ability to successfully pass a background check.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreeJSON, Restful, Amazon Web Services/MS Azure experienceWorking understanding of agile processes
