SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking a Systems Engineer that specializes in SharePoint administration to manage day-to-day activities of the SharePoint infrastructure. This will include SharePoint administration, enhancements, operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks, and providing ad-hoc user support.

Responsibilities include:

Executing SharePoint tasks as necessary to maintain the environment in accordance with overall enterprise support Interacting with end users to troubleshoot issues, gather and elucidate requirements, and explaining end user procedures and techniques Complying with IT enterprise oversight requirements Performing all necessary functions required to maintain the SharePoint application

 

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with polygraph TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. Managing a SharePoint environment as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator (SCA) or the ability to obtain Working with users to identify, validate, and prioritize SharePoint site issues and requirements Assigning, editing and maintaining user roles and permissions. Implementing SharePoint configuration changes required to resolve issues to comply with industry standards Creating and enhancing workflow architectures in SharePoint. Migrating, configuring, and developing SharePoint sites with improved performance, stability, and optimization Performing Create, Read, Update and Delete (CRUD) operations using the Representational State Transfer (REST) interface provided by SharePoint Creating, managing, and updating user documents and document libraries Maintaining SharePoint sites, custom lists, content types, and workflows Using PowerShell scripts for systems automation and creating administrative tasks in SharePoint Working with developers to perform system tests and deployments of a SharePoint environment Conducting quality assurance on SharePoint Demonstrated experience communicating technical and non-technical recommendations for improving user interfaces Training users and creating user manuals

Desired:

 

Demonstrated experience in creating graphical user interface pages tailored to user needs. Demonstrated experience creating and managing document libraries using SharePoint Online to enhance user collaboration and communication. Demonstrated experience using SharePoint InfoPath Forms and Power BI. Demonstrated experience with HTML5, .NET, C#, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS v3 or higher). Demonstrated experience with SQL. Demonstrated experience using JavaScript programming including jQuery.
