This role can be based out of any one of our Mainsail properties (Tampa, Atlanta, Ft. Myers, Naples) or remote in the United States. Additional location restrictions within the US may apply.

The HRIS Manager is a new role created for our expanding company. Mainsail is in growth mode and there are exciting challenges for the right person who will help us enhance and fine tune the recent rollout of Workday. We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid of a challenge and loves to make a difference in an organization. This Manager will serve as the subject matter expert for Workday configuration, enhancements and day-to-day operations of the system. You will act as a strategic partner to the Chief People Officer and collaborate with peers, senior leadership and vendors while listening to employee input and monitoring market conditions to address changing needs.

What you will do:

Maintain the HRIS to ensure system security, continued operations, reporting efficiency, and data integrity. Inform IT of software and hardware problems and partner to resolve them.Act as primary authority on HRIS configurations within defined area(s) of responsibility; combining expert-level proficiency in the systems and solutions with the understanding of the functional HR processes.Proactively identify and resolve any system-related technical issues that could impact end-user experience, data integrity, or overall end-to-end system functionality.Manage the security protocols and the access permission structure in Workday and other HR systems as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality and security of corporate HR and payroll data.Remain current on ever-changing business processes and the impact on existing system configurations. Proactively find ways to optimize the overall HRIS system functionality, data integrity and performance.Support feature releases and issue resolution within defined area(s) of responsibility, working with business users, IT, vendors and other support teams to define scope, prioritize, plan and implement system changes and enhancements.Serve as project manager or lead on all major HRIS-related developments. Serve as the liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR implementation projects.Manage the employee self-service and manager self-service workflows to ensure timely and accurate notifications, approvals and updating of system information.Lead efforts to strategically incorporate business intelligence initiatives using metrics, analytics and dashboards to executives and functional business leaders.Coach, mentor, and oversee the work of an HRIS Analyst.

What we’re looking for

Must have 3+ years of function Workday experience. Deep knowledge of the Workday core HCM, Payroll, and Performance modules a plus.Bachelor’s degree or related field experience.Experience with developing and implementing business and system process improvements and setting standards.Experience in working with a variety of business users in understanding and resolving process and system issues.Solid knowledge of HR business processes in key areas including human resources core administration, payroll, talent acquisition, talent and performance management, compensation, learning and benefits.Strong project management skills to effectively balance competing priorities during project lifecycles while adhering to specific deadlines.Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
