Summary

The Workshop Engineer is responsible to:

Perform service activity on products supplied by Baxter and serviced in the workshopMeet contractual obligations to internal and external customersEnsure all SLA’s are adhered toTo ensure compliance within Baxter quality processes

Key/General AccountabilitiesEstablish and maintain communication & partnership with customers, team members and business contactsInstall, service and maintain products, distributed – manage product complaints and complete within KPI timeframeEnsure all activities are performed following the available instructions and information, within the quality system frameworkReport all relevant service activity, to ensure updated and accurate service data in the service systemComply with Quality management system requirementsAdherence to the Health and Safety policy at all timesEmbrace and adhere to the Enterprise Management SystemManagement of calibration equipment, ensure all tools are tracked and monitoredTake on other roles/duties as requested by Supervisor/Manager

Skills

Qualifications & SkillsElectronics related qualification preferredExcellent team player but able to work on own initiativeSelf-motivated individual who can work to targets and tight deadlinesEnthusiastic and positive approach to the roles requirementsCustomer focused

Education & Experience

Electrical engineering experience preferredCustomer focused, driven to deliver high quality serviceGood command of English, both oral and writtenAnalytically mindedExcellent interpersonal skillsExperience in a Healthcare environment and Service desirableUnderstanding of ESD protection

Knowledge

Good working knowledge of using ERP & Quality systems (or similar)Strong knowledge in electrical engineeringStrong understanding in good compliance practices
