As a Wraparound Social Worker you will be delivering culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed, and family-centered clinical services for Wraparound youth who are referred through social services, probation, or post-adoption services. In collaboration with county and community partners, the Social Worker provides clinical support aligned with Wraparound principles and rooted in Seneca’s mission and values related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. On the Wraparound team, the Social Worker serves as the clinical lead to the Facilitator, Support Counselor, Connections Specialist and Family Partner to ensure the clinical needs of the youth are being met to help maintain the youth in the community and current placement. Services are provided almost exclusively in the community, including in families’ homes, foster homes, schools, and other community locations.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Wraparound Programs work in close partnership with Department of Social Services, Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health, and group homes. Wraparound provides strengths-based and outcome-oriented alternatives to group care placements for children and youth by drawing upon community and family strengths. The Wraparound team builds consensus and leverages the strengths of its members to identify and meet needs that require intervention to support the child/youth and family in reaching their long-term goals.
